Education

360 Hand Therapy offers practical courses, designed to put your theoretical learning into practice and get hands on.

Here are a list of the current courses we are scheduled to run:

  • Radius, Ulnar and DRUJ

Do you want to take an in depth look at the structure, function, pathology and treatment of the forearm and distal radio-ulnar joint? This one day course will further your understanding and treatment capability of this complex area. This course compliments the one day carpus course.

For many of us the carpus still remains a challenging area of hand therapy. This one day course is designed to assist your ability in assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment.

    Programme includes:

    Carpal Pathology (TRAUMA)
    Including:
    - Fractures

    Problem Solving, Planning & Advice

This course compliments the one day radius, ulnar and DRUJ course.

  • Exercise Physiology and Prescription in Hand Therapy

    September 2010 TBC
    Location: Brighton

After running this in January we have been asked to run this course again. This one day course in late summer takes you through the theory behind exercise prescription related specifically to hand therapy.

The course aims to increase your knowledge of muscle physiology and develop your clinical reasoning when planning patient exercise regimes.

We recommend this course is more ideal for Occupational Therapists rather than Physios.
